WeberSeas Weekly Demolition Market Report for WEEK 40 of 2011:

Week ending: 7 October, 2011 / Week 40

  • In the demolition market prices remain under pressure and are now hovering around 500 mark.
  • As expected Bangladesh was inactive in view of the expected court hearing, whereas
  • China was absent because of their holidays.
  • Pakistan paid $510 for handy tanker ‘Jag Pari’ – 29, 132 dwt/ blt 1982 / Lightweight 8,775  on an as is Colombo deal.
  • All of the reported sales are for delivery India.
