It follows the launch of a major programme by the ILO and the Government of Bangladesh to improve working conditions in the ready-made garment (RMG) sector in Bangladesh on 22 October.

A press briefing on the report and progress in improving working conditions in the RMG sector in Bangladesh will be held on Monday, 11 November, at 10.a.m. in press room 1 at the Palais des Nations in Geneva.
