GMS weekly report on Pakistan shipbreaking industry for WEEK 15 of 2012:

Largely satisfied after recent purchases, the Gadani market remained quiet this week with only a few enquiries for desired units emerging.

With VLCCs, suezmax and aframax tankers having recently been committed to end buyer’s basis their moderate gas free for man entry requirement, many yards have already reached capacity ahead of the impending monsoon season and it may be a few more months yet before they are back to top gear on the buying front.
