A certain confidence has been
returning week by week into the Bangladeshi buying sentiment with far more
enquiries emerging and deals eventually being done. This is encouraging news
given the fallibility of the Bangladeshi market over the first few months of
reopening.
Indeed, many deals already committed
to India (and mostly on the way over from the East) are now being talked of as
Bangladesh candidates given the respective fortunes of both markets currently.
Cash buyers too have started to
position their 'as is' units to Chittagong shores and Chinese buyers have again
become aware of the threat from their nearest competitor and have needed to
position their numbers accordingly so as to secure units under intense
competition.
