GMS weekly report on PAKISTAN shipbreaking industry for WEEK 35 of 2011:

  • Upcoming interest?
Subdued:

As was the case last week, the Pakistan market remained silent and absent from market negotiations this week as well. The conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan kept the country busy with more important things than bidding on tonnage. As interest remained sidetracked, there remained little to show as Pakistan ended the week on a no sale note.

With business back to normal in the coming week and monsoon winds heading off, we hope to see a little more interest and action coming forth from local buyers.

NO market sales reported.
