Sensing a bargain or
two, Bangladeshi buyers have been talking rotten rates this week and have even
managed to conclude one or two cut price deals from desperate cash buyer
inventories.
The first tide in
December may well be an interesting one with several high priced deliveries set
to take place, and the integrity of various end buyers will come into sharp
focus over this period.
Two smaller LDT market
units were concluded this week from Far Eastern owners, with the general cargo
units BRIGHT FUTURE (1,936 LDT) sold for a bargain USD 400 per LT LDT and the
FREEDOM (3,663 LDT) committed ‘as is’ Shanghai for a firm USD 380 per LT LDT with
300 T bunkers ROB.
