Rio Grande megashredder on auction block:

Rio Grande Shredding Co. LLC, a giant megashredder in Brownsville, Texas, thought to be the biggest in the United States, is slated to be sold at auction Sept. 13.

The shredder is one of four in the Brownsville area on the southern tip of Texas. It was built by some of the investors in International Shipbreaking Ltd. (ISL) several years ago to handle scrap from the superstructures and cabins of vessels being demolished at ISL.
