Say goodbye to MV wisdom:

If you were hoping the runaway cargo ship MV Wisdom would become something of a permanent fixture at Juhu beach, this could be bad news.

A massive operation involving lots of steel cables, a Navy helicopter and a 70-tonner tug boat will see the 9000-tonne ship will be out of the shallow waters and on its way to the Alang shipbreaking yard within the next four days. “The sea will experience very high tides on Thursday and Friday.

We will use this to our advantage, air-dropping steel cables on to the ship from a Naval helicopter.

If all goes to plan, these will be used to tether the ship, which will then be linked to the tug that will tow her into the high sea,” said an official  The operative words, we guess, are ‘if all goes to plan’.
