A shipyard worker has been killed after an iron sheet fell on him while working in the yard.
Nurunnabi, who received serious injuries in his left hand, right leg and waist, was rushed to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where he died at about 11:50pm, hospital sources said.
Police said Nurunabi, 30, was critically injured in the incident at ARL Shipbreaking Yard on Tuesday evening and died at Chittagong Medical College Hospital
When contacted, officer-in-charge of Sitakunda police station Nur Mohammad confirmed bdnews24.com about the death of Nabi who hailed from Teknapara village in Lalmonirhat.
