Despite some very real demand for tankers and bulkers on the larger side it has been a struggle for Pakistan to pick up any units of late due to the reemergence of Bangladesh onto the scene and the diversion of many candidates as a result.
On the surface, there has been very little impact on price although as the number of vessels that elude their clutches increases price should be expected to pick up as a result. As it is though, demand remains strong with Pakistani buyers prepared to aggressively pursue only those units that catch their eye.
